Let’s Work Together!

I am a single, stay at home mom of six, entrepreneur and blogger based in beautiful Nanaimo BC. I write about food, restaurants, recipes, trends, families, fun stuff and whatever crosses my mind. I have been a teacher, a florist and interior designer, a dance studio owner and general crazy woman in my life time. I love kid , animals, great food and wine, gardening and laughing really hard.

When I interview a restaurant, it is a not for profit interview. I don’t write about restaurants that are chains or that do not personally impress me. This is not to say that if a restaurant hasn’t been reviewed by me yet that I don’t like it…I just only have so much time and money! My focus is on the story behind the restaurant, the people who started it…their passion for food and service.

that perfect hand...

In Ocean's 11, Danny said that "the house always wins. If you play long enough, never change the stakes, then the house takes you. Unless, when that perfect hand comes along, you bet big... and then, you take the house." Here's the hand I've been dealt, sometimes it's risky and sometimes it's safe, but all the time... it's perfect. It's mine.
